Feeling Vindicated

You know that big time professional sports event I attended a year and half ago? I still reminisce about seeing Prince performing Purple Rain in the rain during halftime.



Heading back to the office after Superbowl XLI, I suffered the embarrassment that only a sole Bears fan in the state of Tennessee could understand. The one presumed to be almighty reigns supreme here in Volunteerland. Even when the Colts come to Nashville to play the hometown Titans, half the crowd cheers for their UT hero.

Seems like QB Almighty couldn't even pull his team out of a loss on the Colts' new field, even though he did have a solid outing. Seems like the Bears D was clicking on all fronts. Takeaways (vs. turnovers) are good. Points scored by the D are good. There will be excuses aplenty from the Colts faithful.

Yes, it is back. Football, that is.
