Finished Object: Fetching (+ Huge Rave for Cascade Cash Vero)

Fingerless mitts are perfect in many ways.

  • Rings don't get in the way like they do when you wear fitted leather gloves.
  • You don't have to take them off when you need your fingers to perform a task.
  • They keep your hands warm at work and you can keep typing away on your computer.

These took 10 hours total for both, from cast-on to weaving in all the ends. Yippee!

    Pattern: Fetching
    Yarn: Cascade Cash Vero
Needles: Clover DPNs US Size 6

    Knitty Fetching

So how about the Cascade Cash Vero? This is a new yarn by Cascade. It is intended to compete against Rowan RYC Cashsoft Aran and Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran. They are all priced similarly. I really love Cash Vero. It is really soft. So far, it has not pilled on me. That is probably the biggest complaint with luxury cashmere blend yarns.

P.S. I know you are all really waiting to see the sweaters - Juno and Orangina. I am trying to find the right moment and lighting for these, as they deserve good blog posts with terrific photos.

Those are so cute! Thanks for the review of Cash Vero -- I'd heard it was coming out, but haven't seen it yet.
