It took me awhile to get this done. The knitting and felting parts were fast - less than a week. But then the creative side of me said I needed to line my bag with pretty fabric. The search for fabric was extensive. I found a cute Alexander Henry brand Asian-inspired fabric at Cia's Palette. But I didn't want to pay the shipping just for 1 yard. And I didn't want to buy more than I needed for the free shipping. Finally, I found Alexander Henry fabric from a seller on eBay and the shipping was reasonable.

Then, I needed a way to get the fabric lined. I don't own a sewing machine and I do not know how to sew. Then magically, one day when I browsing Joann's sewing notions area, I saw some no-sew iron-on adhesive. The package claimed to have a strong bond, so I was sold. I did some careful measuring of the bag interior. I worked carefully to seam the lining together. Finally, it was time to put the lining into the bag. I worked the longest sides first, then the short sides. Voila! Genius, indeed.

Thanks for your kind words about the Katja pattern. But talk about cute? This Noni bag is adorable! And you were right to line it. The gorgeous lining propels it to another level. Great job.
That's fantastic, Betty!! I love everything about it!
it's gorgeous! I have no sewing machine either so this iron on stuff sounds like a great idea!!
