Yarn: SWTC Bamboo
Color: Bougainville
Needles: Addi Turbo Size 9
Gauge: Gauge Schmauge

Now I understand why this pattern is uber popular. It is really fun to drop stitches on purpose. Bamboo yarn feels linen-like to me. Supposedly, it is supposed to get softer with each wash. After washing and blocking once, it does feel softer. I really like bamboo yarn. Get thee to a yarn shop and buy some!
This mini version of Clapotis is a quick knit. By quick knit, I mean I work full-time, have a 10-month old baby, and I still managed to get this done in a week.
I wrongly assumed that the modified pattern would use up all of the yarn. I guess I did expect some leftover, since that is usually the case. I have half the yarn leftover!!! I weighed it on my kitchen scale. I could probably make another entire Mini Clapotis. Another option is the Clapotis Cap. Jeanie, LYS regular, sent me that link. Thanks Jeanie!!!
Mom - I know you read this blog. If you don't like it, I will gladly take it back from you when I see you in August.

You're on a roll!! It looks awesome! I've been wanting to get some bamboo, but I have too much going on right now. I'm doing a shawl with linen right now.
wow, I didn't know you could get up to size 9s on this yarn. I just bought some tonight (sale at my LYS!) and I am now trying to figure out what to do with it!
